Fire Alarm / N. King

At 441hrs LVFD was dispatched to a Fire Alarm (general) at Lutcher Elementary.  At the time of alarm a thunderstorm was moving through the area.  Alarm company was unable to contact a keyholder.  LVFD and SJSO walked around the building and did not see any signs of fire and determined it was another alarm system malfunction due to weather.   LVFD cleared at 0458hrs

Smell Smoke / N. Exchange

At 1742hrs LVFD was dispatched to resident smelling smoke in residence.  On arrival and investigation it was found the resident had turned on the heater and odor was dust on the heater element.  LVFD cleared scene at 1805hrs

Fire Alarm / Lionel Washington

At 1249hrs LVFD was dispatched to a fire alarm on Lionel Washington.  A deputy nearby arrived, found no fire, and cleared the scene.  LVFD cleared the call at 1302 hrs

Smell Smoke / W. LeBray

At 2016hrs LVFD was dispatched to West Lebray for odor of smoke, and check for Carbon Monoxide.  On arrival homeowner said she smelled smoke from heater a few minutes ago and shut heater down, but heater had been operational prior without odor.  Check of heater showed dust buildup, advised homeowner to clear heater and a/c filters and if necessary call professional.  Also advised not to use heater until cleared due to fire risk with heater and dust buildup.  Since was electric heater, no CO was present.  Cleared at 2035hrs
