Lutcher Volunteer Fire Department

On Feb 23,2012 LVFD will have all firehose tested per PIAL requirements.  During this week and next all other parish departments will also have their firehoses tested to meet this requirement as well.  This testing was coordinated by the St. James Fireman's Association and department fire chiefs as part of our work to continue to improve our fire departments and meet the increasing requirements from PIAL.  The costs associated with this testing are paid by the renewed tax millage allocation for fire protection within the parish.
